UK Summer Stag Do Ideas
With that in mind lets dig deeper into some incredible stag do activities which will make your stag weekend rock.
Like I said jumping into deep water off a huge cliff side will sort the men out from the boys, basically, are you going to piss like a puppy or start barking with the real dogs (no peer pressure then!).
When booking Coasteering with a professional outfit (like DesignaVenture), we will make sure it's safe and you'll be provided with all the right kit including buoyancy aids, helmet, wet suits etc. plus you'll have a professional instructor guiding you along.
Locations: Bournemouth, Newquay & Swansea
Outdoor Go Karting
This is the closest you'll get to Formula 1 with a stag group. Twin engine karts like the ones you get in Newquay will certainly give you the acceleration and speed, all you need is the skills and a bit of balls.
The best time to see possibly the best Zip Wire park in the world (Snowdonia) is in the summer months. With stunning scenery and the chance to drop from a mountain side at monstrous speeds (in excess of 100mph) you'll see why this is such a popular activity, so book early!
Locations: North Wales & Bournemouth Beach
Similar to Coasteering but inland, using gorges which have been carved out by mountain streams, so you can explore caves, walk behind waterfalls, slide down smooth rock faces and jump off high ledges - the only way to explore a Gorge.
Locations: North Wales, South Wales, Peak District & North of Edinburgh
White Water Rafting
The only way to get rid of a hangover, white water rafting is loads of fun, and with your mates even better, the banter will flow like a river in spring time. Capsizing is not an issue as your kitted out in wetsuit, helmet and buoyancy aid, so bring on the rapids! A brilliant stag do activity and very popular in the summer months.
Locations: Cardiff, North Wales, Nottingham & North of Edinburgh
Surfing & Body Boarding
In the UK we have some of the best surf in the world, it's more reliable than most destinations so it's the perfect place to learn and get stuck in.
They say that over 70% of stag parties can stand up on the board after a hour or 2 of practice, which I think is remarkable. If you fancy an easier activity you can always consider body boarding which you can pick up waves almost immediately.
If all the above is far too much effort then why not consider a more sedate activity...
It's basically exactly what it states on the tin, golf with a football, no bats needed and on the green you get wider holes (obviously).
Loads of fun and a more chilled out stag activity.
The summer is the best time for the races. Warm sunshine, the excitement of the race and wow have you seen the petty ladies (sometimes I just sound like Borat!).
Our stag weekends to the races include accommodation, transport to and from the races, entry into the stadium and maybe some night time stuff (depending on which package you book), these packages are the pinnacle of ease, where all you have to do is turn up and have loads of fun!
Deep Sea Fishing
The only time to go deep sea fishing is in the summer, unless you have the sea legs of an old dog, aaaargh.
Get your stag group to the harbour with a few tinnies (check with us what you can take onboard) and some snacks and everything else is provided, tackle, bait and some skippers include lunch and refreshments.
Expect to catch Mackerel(obviously!!), Bream, Pollock and even Conga Eels.
Locations: Cardiff, Bournemouth, Brighton & Newquay
