There is no denying that stag dos love a bit of competition, whether it’s for bragging rights or an ancient instinctive ritual, activities with a competitive edge will always be popular.
 

So below are some stag do ideas for the competitive parties who love a bit of racing, which in fact is pretty much all of you.

Karting, whether it’s indoor or outdoor (on slick tyres), Rage Buggies or Dirt Buggies (racing on mud), this activity are without doubt one of the most popular racing stag activities.

The slick tyre karts, indoor or out, are usually set up like a Grand Prix with heats, semi finals and finals. This format is loads of fun if you want individual competition and podium finishes.

Other formats include the Iron Man, which is racing around a track for a huge amount of time or the endurance race. The endurance race sees groups split into teams of usually 2 chaps with fast changeovers under a set amount of time, to see which group completes the most laps. 

The slick tyres help you slide around corners in a controlled manor, an uncontrolled manor will see you hitting the tyre walls or going onto the grass, which is great fun but not if you want to win.

Then you have the Rage Buggies, which are the most popular of karts DesignaVenture offer as they can reach speeds of up to 60mph. The acceleration is like no other kart and you will love the strength of these beasts. 

As the Rage Buggies go so fast, you can only time trial these karts, which means 2 - 3 buggies on the track at once racing against the clock. 

Big groups don’t worry, all the activity sites DesignaVenture deal with, will split your group over 2 or more activities or tracks so standing around waiting for your turn will not be an issue.

Dirt buggies are very similar to the Rage Buggies but don’t go as fast, this means you can race them head to head around a mud circuit, sometime speed is not everything and winning a head to head battle can sometimes be the pinnacle of your activity.

Other racing activities include Stock Car Racing and racing fully prepared minis. These minis have rolled cages inside to keep you safe and are an immense amount of fun to drive at speed. 

The stock cars look incredible, single seated and sound amazing. Coaching will be given before you are let loose onto the track racing your mates in this unbelievable experience.
