We all know that stag dos can be a little messy, lively and tiring
so a little bit of luxury whilst on the stag do wouldn’t go a
So we have decided to compile a list of
stag dos from the DesignaVenture website which includes a 3 - 4 star hotel, so you can rest your weary body after a night or two of total mayhem.
The first place to start is Bristol, one of
our top stag destinations 5 years in a row, Bristol has it all… well except a beach.
Fantastic nightlife, incredible activities
and 4 star hotels all the way. The worthy stag do in Bristol I think cuts the
mustard is the aptly named Bristol Credit Cruncher. For £1 less than £100 this
incredibly priced stag package includes 1 night in a city centre 4 star hotel
with full English breakfast, Quad Biking or Hovercrafts and entry into Oceana
or The Syndicate nightclub.
Not too far down the M4 from Bristol
towards London is the surprising popular stag do destination of Reading
(pronounced Redding, for our American cousins).
In Reading we offer a package called the
Reading Deal, so if you book out of season (November to end of February) for
£89.00 per person you can book onto the following stag do; 1 night in a city
centre 4 star hotel with breakfast, Paintball with 100 rounds, Hovercrafts,
Clay Pigeon Shooting and nightclub entry.
Now there’s a deal!
The first stag weekend (2 nights) to make
it to this list is the Rage Buggies, Bikes and Boogie package in Nottingham. Not
only is this weekend packed with fantastic quality activities but also you’ll
be staying in a 3 - 4 star city centre hotel.
All this for £145.00 per person, in some
cities you can't even get 2 nights in a 4 star hotel for under £150.00!
Modern Milton Keynes has some amazing
activities, from indoor tobogganing on real snow, indoor sky diving to Dragon
Boat Racing on a huge man made lake (everything in Milton Keynes is man made or
So we have chosen the High Ropes &
Dragon Boats package, which includes 1 night in a 3 star hotel with breakfast,
Dragon Boat Racing and High Ropes with guest list nightclub entry all for
£99.00 per person.
To finish off our top 5 luxury stag dos for
less is a stag night in swanky Cheltenham, for less than £100 per person you get 1 night
in a 3 star city centre hotel with breakfast, a sit down meal in a fantastic Thai restaurant and then nightclub entry into one of Cheltenham’s coolest clubs.
All of the above prices are based on June
2013 prices and are advertised on the DesignaVenture stag do section of the website.
Stag Do movies are really on the up, over the years this fantastic life experience (your stag do / bachelor party) has also become a must see movie. Here at the DesignaVenture towers we have raided our DVD collections and VHS tapes and watched as many stag do themed films as possible to rate them in our very own special Top 10 stag do movie compilation. So which stag do movies have received the DesignaVenture Movie Gongs: At 10…. Bachelor Party Vegas (2006 - IMDb rating 4.7/10) Possibly the start of the modern stag do comedy movie where the stars pack their bags and head to Vegas for a weekend to remember, or forget! This funny film also includes lots of naked ladies and even Paintball guns, how very apt. At 9…. Stag Night (2008 - IMDb rating 4.9/10) This is definitely not light hearted or a comedy in any way, a stag party takes the New York underground and gets off at the wrong haunted station, "STAY ON THE TRAIN!". A thriller which will put you off hav

Not to be confused with pranks and games, stag do challenges is a whole new ball game. Stag Do Challenges consist of the stag (groom-to-be) being set a number of tasks over his stag weekend or night which he must complete, if he doesn't there's a forfeit which is usually drinking his own weight in wine or something, but that's up to your group. Below I have put together a do-able list of 27 stag do challenges, you can pick the best ones or try and get him to do them all (on occasions, we will add to this list). All at the same time, the stag must purchase a porn magazine, hand cream and some tissues - this must be done without an explanation and without a smirk on his face. (I have a friend who bought a tub of vaseline for his chapped lips and a cucumber for his mum, totally unaware of what his 2 shopping items looked like travelling down the conveyor belt to the check out!). Get a kiss from a MILF who must be clearly over the age of 50. Beat a total str
This question possibly pops up in the best man's mind as soon as he has been offered the job, "should the groom pay for his own stag do "? As best man you could pay for his share or split the price between the whole group. This would mean the group paying an extra £10 - £30 depending on the group size and the price of the stag do. There are many arguments whether he should or should not pay for his own stag do, such as: He should pay for his own stag weekend because; I paid for my own stag do I am paying to go on his stag weekend and that's costing me enough so why should I have to pay for part of his? The groom is minted, why should I have to pay for him. He should not pay for his own stag do because; As best man, I should do my best to look after him He is paying for the wedding, he has enough to pay for You and most of the stag group are invited to the wedding, this is a good way of showing gratitude The above bullet points
Your best mate (the groom, remember?) has asked you to be his best man and the single most important job is obviously the stag do, am I right? Cool, but hang on, you don't know how to arrange your washing let alone arranging 20 of the groom's best mates on a stag do to end all stag dos. Well don't worry, help is on hand, apart from the numerous helpful posts found on this blog I have put together some ideas for questions you may want to ask the groom before arranging his memorable and amazing stag do. First things first you need to find out from the groom who he wants to come, get a list of names, mobile numbers and email addresses. You then need to know how much, your buzz word is budget , this will give you an idea what type of stag do you are arranging, is it a trip to the local boozer and kebab house or are you looking at 7 weeks in Thailand? Then you need to know; when , this is quite tricky as everyone needs to be free on the same weekend so booking earl
