Weather iffy in the Med?

The weather can be iffy in October in the Med, so if you're looking for sunshine you need to head to the East of the Mediterranean to places like Crete, Rhodes or Cyprus.

The best beer festival in the world and the most famous - so if your stag do is for October that's lucky as the beer festival is usually between 22nd September and 7th October.

There is nothing like a day at the races and in October Ascot usually has 3 dates for your diary - around the 05/06th October, which is the Ascot Beer festival or around the 20th October which is the QIPCO British Champions Day.

Blackpool, once the only place to go on a stag do! Over the last few years Blackpool council and private companies are spending millions rejuvenating this lively seaside town.

In October, Blackpool will have the incredible illuminations which is a world famous light show.

With 10 kilometres of lights using over a million bulbs you can imagine what an awesome sight this is!

Quad Biking is a fantastic motorised stag do activity especially for October, you'll be tearing up mud tracks, slipping and sliding around vast fields and ripping through rivers and streams - no other activity comes close.

Bournemouth is a very popular stag do destination situated on a 7 mile beach, Bournemouth also has incredible nightlife and feels like a decent holiday resort whatever time of year you go.

Edinburgh


 Edinburgh is a great place to party and just north of Edinburgh you have the Highlands for fantastic activities such as White Water Rafting, Quad Biking, Cliff Jumping etc. Edinburgh can get very busy with tourist in July and August so October is a great time to visit, away from all the selfie sticks and hiked up prices.
