Stag Do Destination Ideas For 2019

2019 will soon be here, blink twice, eat a Christmas dinner and you'll be singing 'Auld Land Syne' like a drunken teenager before you know it.

So below, under some popular categories, you will find some brilliant stag do destinations, helping you to decide on where to go for your 2019 stag do.

ADVENTURE

Abroad - Riga and Prague

If you're looking for an adventurous stag do abroad then Riga or Prague spring to mind straight away.

Both stag destinations are epic and include a whole host of activities including shooting AK 47s, Bobsleigh, white water rafting, stag kidnap, snowmobile safaris to name just a few.

At night you have guided bar crawls where you're taken around by incredibly friendly female reps who know all the best bars and nightclubs and love British stag dos, because apparently we are all very friendly (I was told this by a rep a couple of years ago in Prague).

UK - North Wales

In my opinion the best place for adventure in the UK is North Wales, this fantastic destination is so adventurous you'll need to take a defibrillator with you, just in case!

North Wales is home to the fastest Zip Wire in the WORLD! Set in Snowdonia's national park it's also home to the longest zip zone in Europe.

Other incredible activities you can do in North Wales on your stag do include; white water rafting, river bugging, quad biking, Racing Rage Buggies, Canyoning, bubble football, foot golf, paintball, clay pigeon shooting, white water supping - check out our North Wales Stag Do Ideas for inspiration and realtime price.

PARTY

UK - Bournemouth and Newquay

There are a couple of seaside resorts in the UK which are incredibly lively and can hold the accolade of "Party Towns".

Get yourself down to Newquay in Cornwall, it's beautiful, has an incredible atmosphere, brilliant activities (surfing, coasteering, best quad bike racing track in the UK), fantastic beaches and the best nightlife.

Alternatively Bournemouth is easier to get to for most people, situated on the South coast and boasting it's own mini climate, it's usually milder hear than anywhere else in the UK.

Brilliant nightlife, incredible activities and a 7 mile beach, Bournemouth has to be on your stag do radar for anytime of the year.

Party cities in the UK which are incredibly popular and very stag do friendly include Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester, Sheffield, Nottingham and Chester.

Abroad - Spain, Cyprus and Canaries

There is nothing like partying 24/7 when abroad and in my mind it needs to be hot.

So head to Benidorm (mainland Spain) Magaluf (Majorca), San Antonio (Ibiza), Ayia Napa (Cyprus) or in the winter months the Canary Islands - Playa De Las Americas (Tenerife) Playa Del Inglis (Gran Canaria).

These lively resorts, are perfect for stag weekends, weeks or months (yeah right!), you'll enjoy excellent beach life, very lively bars and clubs and an immense and unforgettable atmosphere to boot.

CULTURE

Abroad - Tallinn and Krakow

Culture is not a dirty word on a stag do, this isn't the 1990s! Stag parties these days are much more sophisticated and like to eat good quality meals with the back drop of a lovely Cathedral or Square.

So my Cultural hot spots abroad have to be Krakow in Poland or Tallinn in Estonia. Two very beautiful cities steeped in history, amazing buildings and things to see. An added bonus they also have brilliant nightlife, for when it's needed.

UK - Liverpool and Edinburgh

Two very different cities, however both Liverpool and Edinburgh are top in my mind of cultural stag do destinations in the UK with fantastic nightlife and more culture then you can shake a stick at.

Liverpool will grab your attention on arrival with how much history has been absorbed in to one amazing city. From once being one of the busiest sea ports in the world, to modern culture including being home to The Beatles.

Edinburgh on the other hand is a city like no other, The Castle, Whiskey Tasting Tours, Princess Street, Grassmarkets and The Royal Mile are all amazing to explore, you'll need longer than a weekend, there is just too much to see and do.

CHILLED

Abroad - Bratislava and Valencia

Braislava, the capital of Slovak Republic is not only one of the cheapest stag do destinations to party in, it's also in my mind a chilled-out small capital with great bars, restaurants and squares.

Similarly, Valencia with great beaches, squares and nightlife is as busy as you want it, situated on the east coast of Spain with the Med lapping at it's beaches it's a great destination all year round.

UK - Hereford

A chilled out city with nightlife if you want it. There are loads of stag activities available in Herefordshire and if you really want a chilled out weekend, hire canoes and canoe down the river wye.

TRADITIONAL

UK - Blackpool

More traditional than a roast dinner on Sunday, Blackpool has been a stag do staple since the 1960s. Get dressed up and let your hair down, this party town has a fantastic beach and nightlife so good it should come with a disclaimer!

Abroad - Amsterdam

The only place to go if you want a traditional stag do of getting on it and then getting off it. One word of warning - the groom will need a month of recovery before his wedding so book it way in advance of the big day!

Where ever you go, enjoy it and good luck!
