Right that's the facts out the way, below are stag do ideas to get you more tingly than a raver covered in Vicks!

ACTIVITIES GALORE

If you're looking for an adventurous activity based stag do, in my mind you cannot beat the UK.

These days the UK is really geared up for adventure from the fastest Zip Line in the world (Snowdonia) to some of the best quad biking treks you'll ever get try The Mega Trek in Bournemouth or the Super Trek in Shropshire / North Wales Borders for an incredible quad biking experience.

If the weather is an issue go indoors and race karts, play paintball, escape from a room (Escape Room) or taste some fine ales or ciders, whiskey or even make your own pizza, there are loads of indoor activities available.

In my mind of you're looking for a stag do full of activities the UK is your best bet, the more money you save on travel (flights) the more money you can spend on adrenalin based adventure, oh and nightlife.

SUNSHINE

If you are looking for sunshine then you really are going to have to travel more than 4 hours, even though Benidorm looks sunny with 7 hours of sunshine the average temperature is just 14c, one thing you can say about Benidorm in February is it's lively with OAP's, so if you're into Bingo, Bowls, walks along the beach and GILF, Benidorm's an ideal choice!

In my mind, Tenerife is possibly your best bet for sunshine and nightlife unless you go further afield such as Dubai, Las Vegas or Thailand. Tenerife is just 4.30hrs on a flight and as it's just off the African coast, boasting brilliant weather all year round. I would also say that Playa de las Americas will be the liveliest resort in February.

SNOW

In February, the whole of the popular European Mountain ranges will be packed out with skiers and snowboarders.

5 very lively European resorts for Après Ski:

  • St Anton, Austria
  • Sauze d"Oulx, Italy
  • Mayrhofen, Austria
  • Val d'Isere, France
  • Meribel, France

If you prefer the ski-ing or snowboarding to be an experience rather than the whole stag do why not consider a trip to an Indoor ski dome such the one in Milton Keynes, Manchester or the largest in Europe, Amsterdam.

Riga is a popular stag weekend destination for fantastic winter sports especially if you like speed and adrenaline; fly down an Olympic Ice Track in a four man bobsleigh, reaching rocket speeds and possibly giving the stag an experience of a lifetime! Alternatively, zip through a winter wilderness on a snowmobile, they are incredibly fast and so much fun to drive.

WATER

You wouldn't necessarily think watersports in February  however if you are in sunny Tenerife where the daytime temperatures can reach the mid twenties a trip to the brilliant Water park is a must. It'll keep the boys buzzing to the bars in the evening.

If you are feeling brave and don't mind the cold water then the UK offers some fantastic water sports in February, activities include; white water rafting, coasteering and canyoning.

We do actually send quite a few stag parties on UK water sport activities in February, obviously you'll get wet suits so what's the issue!

NIGHTLIFE

I have touched on ski resorts with epic Après Ski and Tenerife being your best bet for a lively sunshine resort in February, what about the UK I hear you ask, well I am telepathic, or a plonker, one of the two!

Well you are always guaranteed a lively night in the big UK cities like Newcastle, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Bristol, London, Manchester or Liverpool.

Other destinations which are lively and loads of fun in February are Sheffield, Reading and Bournemouth.

Whatever you do, life's short, so enjoy!
