2020 is just around the corner and is likely to be with us quicker than Usain Bolt at an all-you-can-eat chicken nugget buffet, so I would say booking your 2020 stag weekend now is a good shout.

We've done a little investigating and found that 2020 in the wedding industry is going to be extremely busy, all the signals are there from our colleagues at various wedding venues, outlets and websites. Your stag weekend is part of this industry so booking early is a must as it's going to be one hell of a busy year!

In no particular order here are 11 of the best stag weekend destinations in the UK we think will be incredible in 2020:

NEWCASTLE

Whatever you say about the Geordies they are damn friendly and sure know how to party, that's why Newcastle is an extremely friendly stag do destination and makes it into our top 11. River cruises down the Tyne, brilliant bars and clubs on Quayside and an array of daytime activities, Newcastle is a great place to venture to.

BRISTOL

Bristol is always a contender for the best UK stag weekend destination because this amazing city has so much to offer. From epic nightlife to incredible daytime activities; whether you're looking for motorised mayhem like Rage Buggies or Quad Biking to Canyoning, Horse Racing or West Country Games, Bristol has it all.

EDINBURGH

Edinburgh is truly one of Europe's greatest capitals. There is nothing the Scots don't know about partying, making it a perfect stag party destination. Edinburgh is also only an hour or so from the highlands where you'll find some of the best white water in the UK. Alternatively go whiskey tasting in the centre of town, whatever you do it'll be an incredible experience.

Bournemouth

A seaside town in the deep south of Dorset, Bournemouth has an incredible climate, fantastic nightlife and enough stag activities to keep even the busiest stag parties happy. 7 Miles of clean golden sandy beaches is also the magnet for the hot summer months.

Cardiff

Another brilliant European capital city, with incredible nightlife so good you'll need a defibrillator for the way home! Cardiff also offers some of the best stag do activities available to man, from White Water Rafting in the bay to Canyoning in the Brecon Beacons. Remember the Beacons is where the SAS go to train, so be on your best behaviour!

Nottingham 

Nottingham is a fantastic destination to have a stag weekend. It has a huge selection of independent restaurants, bars and clubs to socialise in, so it's not just like any other city. Nottingham also has the only Hooters in the UK, which is an American style sports bar selling hot wings, BBQ meats, chips and salads all within a restaurant which has more TVs than a Currys PC World!

Liverpool

One of the top cities to visit in the world let alone the UK. Liverpool has excellent nightlife and an atmosphere like no where else I've ever been to. Reading

Not the first city you'd think of when choosing a stag destination however Reading has so much to offer and is in an ideal spot near London, Ascot and the M4! Stag groups use Reading as a base when they go horse racing in Ascot or Newbury, at DesignaVenture our horse racing packages include the transport to make sure you get there and back all in one piece! North Wales

Blackpool is a kind of curve ball for 2020 as we have found more and more stag groups are looking at Blackpool for their weekend. The nightlife is a real eye opener and must be experienced plus the council has spent so much money regenerating the promenade soon it'll be the place to go. Must visit is the Blackpool pleasure beach.

Newquay

Where would a UK stag destination list be without Newquay? Newquay is where I had my stag do and loved it! The nightlife is awesome and Cornwall is incredible so in the day get in your cars and go and explore. If you fancy some water sports have a go at surfing or body boarding I promise you providing you have a wet suit on, you'll love it!

Stag Do Challenges consist of the stag (groom-to-be) being set a number of tasks over his stag weekend or night which he must complete, if he doesn't there's a forfeit which is usually drinking his own weight in wine or something, but that's up to your group.
