Cheltenham geographically is in an ideal stag destination, just off the M5 and pretty much in the middle of, middle England.

So if your party is scattered around the UK, it's a great central meeting point but hey, that's not the only reason!

The nightlife in Cheltenham is all within walking distance and has a very up market vibe. The bars feel very classy and have a great atmosphere, the clubs be it lap dancing or disco dancing are 'bang on perfect' for a stag's last night of a single man.

If you don't just fancy clubbing and parting, then there are buckets loads of stag activity ideas for you to choose from such as Quad Biking, Indoor Karting, Laser Tag, Clay Pigeon Shooting and if you fancy a flutter Horse racing at the world famous Cheltenham racing ground.

Travel a little further (45 minutes) down the M5, you have possibly one of the best activity sites in the UK, which offers stag activities such Rage Buggies, Quad Biking, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Hovercrafts, Paintball and Super-Kats all on one magnificent site.

Eating is definitely not cheating on a Cheltenham stag do, as there are so many fantastic restaurants from the usual run on the mills of Nando's and Cafe Rouge to the more exotic Asian fusion eateries and are all stag do friendly.

Get Surfing in Newquay

Surfing is a sexy sport everyone wants to have a go at, but only a fraction step up to the surf, but what better way to give it a go then with all your mates on a stag do in Newquay.

You don't need to be on a stag weekend, you can be on a works do or on holiday with the family, everyone should have a go at surfing.

With your board and wet suit included all you need to bring is a bit of enthusiasm.

The instructors are spot on, they will give you loads of support and tips all the way to standing up on the surf board and like the video suggests, the majority of the stag group stand up by the end of the session, that's possibly more then at the end of the stag night!

You can then walk up the beach with surf board in hand looking and feeling like Charlie Potatoes (chuffed with yourself).

The Cornish west coast has some of the best surfing in the world, as the North Atlantic rollers just keep on giving, rarely does Newquay have no surf.

So if you are looking for something different, an activity which will bond the group and make your stag weekend special, surfing is an excellent activity to add your stag do ideas list.
