Nottingham Stag Weekends Rock

Consider a stag do destination where apparently there are 7 women to 1 man (not sure if this is a myth?), it's easy to get to, the nightlife is buzzing and there are tons of daytime activities to choose from.

That destination is Nottingham, a hot bed for hen and stag parties wanting to let their hair down and party.

In the 90's Nottingham was one of the first cities outside of London, Blackpool and Edinburgh to attract loads of hen and stag revellers.

There are many reasons for this including friendly locals, fantastic nightlife, the rumour of more women than men, activity centres popping up all around Nottinghamshire and it's geographical location within the UK mainland.

The Nightlife is not to be sniffed at, it has many restaurants suiting tastebuds from around the world, energetic bars and dynamic clubs to keep even the liveliest stag party entertained.

The daytime activities in Nottingham are simply awesome and include Rage Buggies, Hovercrafts, It's a Knockout, Quad Biking, Paintball, Indoor Karting, Clay Pigeon Shooting - the list just gets bigger each year.

If you fancy a flutter Nottingham has one of the best racecourses in the country and next door is a greyhound racing track, perfect for a bit of excitement in the evening before heading out to the clubs.

Obviously eating is not always a priority on a stag do, but it is in Nottingham at the Hooters restaurant, the first one to open in the UK ,where gorgeous girls walk around in skimpy outfits serving beers, BBQ food, chips and dips whilst catching up with Sky Sports, is this Utopia?

If you would prefer entertainment Nottingham has an excellent medieval banquet with a lively party atmosphere, 5 courses and as much grog as you can consume.

So if you are in a bit of a pickle and don't know where to have your stag weekend, Nottingham in my mind is a great choice and I haven't even mentioned Robin Hood!
