Why book your summer stag do early?

There's a classic saying "don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today, especially your stag do".

OK I have added "especially your stag do", but there's a hell of a lot to say about old proverbs, these are wise words, words that you should integrate into your life. 

Putting things off will only create a nagging voice in your head saying, "you haven't done this and you haven't done that", and getting drunk will only temporarily mute the voice, and believe me it will come back louder when you're sober.

Booking your stag do early will mean you will get the accommodation and activities of your choice, get the best price (as these days in travel, the closer you get to the date the more expensive the rooms, flights or activities become) and you'll get rid of that nagging voice!

Is it money?

Most stag do companies like DesignaVenture allow you to put down a small deposit of £30* and then the lads can pay online or call and pay their deposit and balance afterwards, that way you only have your balance to sort.

Speak to as many people who are invited on the stag do as possible and find out their budgets, you don't want to book something which is too expensive which no one can afford, on the flip side, you don't want to book a B&B when everyone is expecting a 4 star hotel!

Are you worried about making a bad decision?

First and foremost have some faith in yourself, you're not going to book a dud weekend, that is providing you communicate. Communication is so important, talk to the groom and find out what he wants to do, if he's ambivalent talk to the ushers, his family, his future wife and find out what will work.

You are going to have to dig deep and do some research, that way you won't get it wrong.

Are you worried no one will come?

People will come, build and "bill" the stag weekend and people will come, especially if you have taken the group’s opinions onboard.
 
Remember to promote the weekend, get a WhatsApp group together and build the excitement, once people start chatting and bantering on the group, the weekend has already started!

So here at the DesignaVenture Towers we have been listening to our stag parties and recently we have been asked for the rules to the stag do game Pub Golf .
