Coasteering Stag Group + Kit

So what's the plan:

Before everything can kick off you'll need to meet up with your instructors for kit allocation and the all and very important safety briefing.

Your stag group will then walk or drive to the start point where all the craziness that is Coasteering begins.

In most locations you will start small where you'll walk across rock pools to mini ledges over deep rock pools.

Some parts of the activity you'll need to climb a little, traverse and also walk across thin ledges to get to your next stage where you're jumps will get larger and lager, I mean larger, I've got beer on my mind!

You'll be ready for a beer after you've finished this epic activity as some of the jumps can exceed 60ft!

Whilst this is all going on you'll also get chance to explore various areas of the coastline including swimming into some very dark caves, location dependant.

Coasteering is also part of our 3 natural highs on a stag do.

FAQ's

Do I have to do all the jumps?
Absolutely not, there will be no peer pressure from your instructors plus there are other ways around the big jumps if you don't fancy it.

Do I need to be able to swim?
Yes, some sites have requested that you must be able to swim at least 50 metres (2 lengths).

Do I need insurance to do this activity?
I will always recommend you take out insurance for all travel related activities but it's not essential. If you don't book through DesignaVenture make sure the centre you do go to has valid and adequate liability insurance.

How fit do I need to be?
You do need to be able to pull yourself out of the water and climb up some small rock faces but you don't need to be Joe Wicks! Plus you do need to be able to swim 50 metres.

You can find all our coasteering activities here. Alternatively book a stag weekend that includes Coasteering.

Whatever you get up to, have a good one!

Good luck
